Engineering Manager

Responsibilities : - Design and develop new, end-to-end financial product experiences in the BFSI domain For Retail Consumers. - Work cross-functionally with Engineering teams across multiple product teams to drive. buy-in on new products. experiences and engineering frameworks. - Work closely with your and other engineering teams with a keen eye toward scalable architecture to design and implement new01 integrations with an appetite to quickly scale from 1n across products. - Recruit and build an entirely new engineering team and move fast in converting new ideas to products collaborating with Product, Design, Leadership, and other functions, while maintaining high product quality and reliability. - Staying ahead of the curve by lending a stable structure to the teams and products while bringing operational excellence as products mature. Requirements : - 8-11 years of overall experience with 2 years of Engineering Management experience, managing a diverse set of candidates (frontend, backend, mobile), across various technologies. - Good software engineering methodology meaningful and deeply rooted opinions about testing and code quality, ability to make sound. quality/speed trade-offs. - Exceptional technical skills in the backend with significant experience building and operating critical high-scale systems with a hands-on approach to lead from the front when the situation calls for it. - Ability to think and analyze both breadthwise (client, server, DB, control flow) and depth-wise (threads, sessions, space-time complexity) while designing and implementing services. - Exceptional design and architectural skills. - Expertise and interest in growing teams-interviewing junior and senior engineers, collaborating with a recruiting team, and smoothly onboarding new team members. - Strong hands On experience in .Net and React Framework - Advanced level programming skill set in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Python, C# - Experience in at least one of the major front end development frameworks is highly desirable - Advance level SQL skill set and solid understanding of design best practices for horizontally scalable high IO data intensive applications - Mastery of SDLC and CI/CD best practices - Strong expertise in IaaS and PaaS offerings, tooling and best practices for at least one of the big three public cloud providers. - AWS preferred - Demonstrated experience of building scalable micro services - Demonstrated experience building data pipelines (ref:hirist.tech)
