Senior DevOps Engineer - Data Operations

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement automated data pipelines using Snowflake as the primary data warehouse. - Automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes utilizing CI/CD practices. - Configure and manage infrastructure for data pipelines, potentially including cloud-based solutions like Kubernetes. - Manage and maintain data security and access controls within Snowflake. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues. - Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Continuously improve data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Snowflake and DevOps technologies. - Document technical processes and procedures for future reference. Qualifications : - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role, with a focus on data operations. - Proven experience in designing and implementing automated data pipelines. - Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, functionalities, and best practices. - Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, etc.). - Working knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (a plus). - Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). - Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. - The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
