Azure Cloud Data Solution Architect - Data Warehousing/ETL

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure-Cloud Data Solution Architect to join our team. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data solutions, including Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Lake, and Cloud Migration projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analytics, cloud platforms, solution design, and client engagement. Key Responsibilities: - Solution Design: Design and architect end-to-end data solutions, including Data Warehouse, ETL processes, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. - Cloud Platform Expertise: Leverage Azure cloud services to build scalable and reliable data solutions, utilizing services such as ADLS, Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Synapse, and Azure DevOps. - Client Engagement: Handle client proposal (RFP) responses and defend proposed solutions in client meetings. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including architects and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and present technology solutions. - Data Architecture: Plan and implement data architecture, including data governance, data mesh, and data fabric patterns, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance. - Cloud Migration: Lead and execute on-premise to cloud migration projects, leveraging Azure cloud services and best practices for seamless migration of data and applications. - Agile and DevOps: Work within AGILE and DevOps workflows, utilizing tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery of data solutions. - Certification and Domain Knowledge: Obtain and maintain relevant certifications, such as Architect or Data Engineer certifications on Azure. - Utilize telecom or media domain experience to enhance data solutions in these industries. Required Skills: - 12 years of experience in Data Analytics, including on-premise and cloud implementations. - Experience in solution designing for Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Lake, and Cloud Migration projects. - Strong knowledge and experience with Azure cloud services, including ADLS, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse. - Experience in handling client proposals (RFP) and defending proposed solutions in client meetings. - Knowledge of data architecture patterns like Data Mesh and Data Fabric, and experience in data governance. - Excellent communication, listening, and influencing skills, with strong customer-facing experience. - Proficiency in AGILE and DevOps workflows, including tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, and Maven/Gradle. - Architect or Data Engineer certification on Azure (or equivalent on AWS/GCP) would be an added advantage. - Experience in building data solutions leveraging Cloud services, preferably in Azure, GCP, or AWS. - Telecom or Media domain experience would be an added advantage.
