Job Description
Role : D365 Finance & Operations - Lead SCM Functional Consultant. Min Experience required : 6 years. Must have : - Experience of minimum 3-5 full life-cycle implementations using MS Dynamics D365 F&O SCM Solutions. - Gathering, understanding, analysing client business processes to re-engineer/design the solution improving operational efficiency. - Performing functional support tasks for D365 F&O application maintenance and operations. - Having a good knowledge of D365 F&O SCM modules while holding certifications in the most current versions. - Set up and configure SCM modules like Product Information Management / Sales / Master Planning / Procurement / Trade & Logistics & Inventory Management / Asset management in D365 F&O product. - Implement and manage SCM modules like Product Information Management / Sales / Master Planning / Procurement / Trade & Logistics & Inventory Management / Asset management in D365 F&O product. - Knowledge of Production (Manufacturing), Advanced Warehouse Management and Project Management and other Finance modules is added advantage. - Excellent communication skill both written / verbal. - Must have ability to work and interact with international customers independently. - Must have good analytical and logical thinking. Responsibilities : - Will leverage expertise in Microsoft D365 SCM to assess SCM processes across four countries worldwide where the solution is currently implemented. - Will ensure comprehensive gathering of SCM requirements for enhancement and bug fixing from the four countries, aligning with business processes implemented in D365 and understanding the rationale behind these requirements. - Will actively engage in reconciliation activities within the Microsoft Dynamics application based on inputs received from markets already utilizing the system. - Will play a key role in all stages of the D365 SCM Modules rollout to new markets, including analysing business requirements and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 for SCM to meet these needs. - Will oversee users acceptance testing and provide training to ensure successful utilization and maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics SCM application. - Will be responsible for configuring the Microsoft Dynamics SCM application to align with business requirements and facilitate discussions with Developers to develop solution designs. - Investigates problems to establish real or hidden causes. - Solution Testing / Unit Testing for business acceptance and accuracy. - Actively work with all involved to mitigate risks. - Active involvement in Master Data validation, cut-over and Go live activities. - Drive Fit-Gap analysis & Conference Room Pilot (CRP). - Collaborate with business user(s) to understand problem statement and providing / implementing best suitable solution. - SLA based ticket/incident resolution in Level 1, 2 and 3 of application support. - Identifying opportunities to improve the solution tightening the interfaces and enhancing the Dynamics 365 F&O features. - Solution Testing for business acceptance and accuracy. - Communicating issues and project tasks to team in appropriate forum. - Providing general usability guidance, and preparation reference material for key or end users. - Providing detailed utilization and work status report. - Use common functionality and implementation tools. - Configure security, processes, and options. - Perform data mapping and assist in data migration. - Validate and support the solution.
