System Analyst - Network Infrastructure & Administration

Summary : We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled System Analyst to join our IT team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our user base by providing desktop support, managing network infrastructure, and troubleshooting technical issues. This role requires a strong foundation in computer technology, experience with various IT tools, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities : User Support : - Provide first-line technical support to staff, addressing desktop/laptop hardware and software issues. - Set up and install computers for new hires and departing employees. - Assist remote workers with technical challenges, troubleshoot VPN connectivity and remote access issues. Network Administration : - Possess experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP to manage user accounts, network resources, and domain services. - Experience in imaging and deploying laptops to ensure consistent configurations across the organization. - Troubleshoot network connectivity problems in both local (LAN) and wide area (WAN) network environments. Security & Maintenance : - Manage and maintain BitLocker encryption on user devices for data security. - Deploy and maintain antivirus software to protect against security threats. - Remove malware and spyware from infected devices. Technical Skills : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Technology or Associate's degree in Computer Applications - Computer Technology with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - Strong understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory). - Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and troubleshooting techniques. - Experience with imaging and deployment tools. - Familiarity with VPN technology and remote access solutions. Additional Skills (Preferred) : - Working knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere for virtualization management. - Working knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls for network security management. - Working knowledge of Mitel Telephony Systems for voice support.
