Senior IT Project Manager

Experience : - 7 years of experience in IT software project management, leading and managing complex projects with cross-functional teams. - Experience with and strong understanding of IT infrastructure, servers, and web applications. Skills and Abilities : - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks. - Proven ability to lead and drive the project planning and execution process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope. - Ability to think strategically and add value beyond just task management, focusing on continuous improvement and project optimization. - Familiarity with various Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile). - Prior experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Service Operation Management (SOM) principles is a plus. Responsibilities : - Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful project delivery and user adoption. - Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. - Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. - Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams (development, testing, operations). - Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement. - Manage project budgets and track expenditures. - Report project status to stakeholders regularly. - Stay up-to-date on the latest project management methodologies and IT trends. Additional Information : - This role requires a strong understanding of IT project management principles and best practices. - Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira) is preferred. - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
