Infor XA/Mapics Developer

Infor XA/Mapics Developer - As an Infor XA Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and functional support for the implementation, customization, and ongoing maintenance of the Infor XA ERP system. - You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, configure the system to meet their needs, and ensure successful adoption and utilization of the software. - Responsibilities: - Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into system configurations and customizations within the Infor XA platform. - Install, configure, and maintain the Infor XA software environment, including servers, databases, and application components. - Customize and extend the functionality of Infor XA through programming, scripting, and integration with other systems using tools such as RPG, CL, SQL, and APIs. - Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to educate end-users on the use of Infor XA features and functionalities. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of the Infor XA system. - Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in ERP technology, particularly within the manufacturing and distribution industry, and proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, developers, and quality assurance testers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. - 3 years of experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting the Infor XA ERP system. - Strong technical skills in RPG, CL, SQL, and other programming languages and tools commonly used in the IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment. - Solid understanding of manufacturing and distribution business processes, including inventory management, production planning, procurement, and financials. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive project success. - Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and providing exceptional customer service. - In-depth knowledge of ERP implementation methodologies, best practices, and quality assurance processes. - Relevant certifications in Infor XA or related technologies are a plus.
