Senior Engineer - Performance Testing

The Merchandise Operations Management Delivery team is responsible for modernization of Global Merchandise Financial systems, as well as our Pricing and Clearance Management systems. We achieve these goals by implementing off-the-shelf solutions (Oracle Retail), which drive the ability to support key finance processes and markdown strategies. Our business customers rely on the accuracy and integrity of the solutions we provide to manage our merchandise, pay our vendors correctly and in a timely fashion and ultimately report accurate data to Wall Street. Our team consists of over 50 Associates located across the globe, with plans to increase it now through expansion in our India office. Expanding TJX's presence in India will bring knowledge and expertise, local leadership and decision making, enabling us to deliver the right work, at the right time, in the right way. Over the next 12 months, our Indian presence will be the largest representation of the team in any global geography. Responsibilities: Design the test plan and test strategies for optimizing the existing process to meet the SLAs Work with the business along with the POs to understand the requirements map them to a testing requirement and propose an optimized solution Analyzing the volumes, Identifying the performance issues, propose tuning opportunities and testing the scalability of the solution Follow best performance practices/industry standards when it comes Oracle Retail suite of products. Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset work experience in Oracle retail domain with 5-7 years of strong technical and functional experience Hands on experience with Oracle retail batches (RMS, RPM, ReSA, REIM) along with good technical understanding. Experience in Performance Testing, Tuning, Query Optimization, SQL Profiler, and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Strong knowledge of Oracle retail application functionality, tables, and relationships for Perf Optimization Advanced SQL, PL/SQL development, Unix & ProC Experience with Oracle database and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Excellent documentation and knowledge-sharing skills Good communication skills and teamwork focus mindset Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude
