Job Description

Role : This role provides a strong background in implementing and maintaining Workday SaaS applications. As a Workday Solution Analyst for our Financial Planning & Analytics applications, you will have a variety of responsibilities, including advising on our long-term roadmap to ensure scalable and innovative solutions, while partnering with the business to ensure their day-to-day needs are being met. Functions : - Identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. - Support the Planning Lead in architecting Workday Planning solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated. - Advise users on industry standards and leading practices. - Demonstrate design options using prototyping. - Existing and up to date Adaptive Insights certification. - Experience in Financial Management with a background in accounting, finance, consolidation, management reporting, planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or related field. Qualifications : REQUIRED : - Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Must be fluent in speaking and writing English. - Experience in implementing Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting systems like Adaptive Insights. - An understanding of Peoplesoft Financials. - SQL knowledge to read and write queries. - MS Office products experience. DESIRED : - More than 2 years of hands-on experience with delivering Adaptive Insights implementations. - Experience in multi-currency environment(s). - Understanding of any other programing language is a plus. - Working knowledge of integration through API is a plus. - Experience with integrations between FP&A tools and other finance applications, planning models and sheets, reporting methodologies, and dashboard management. - Experience in supporting FP&A teams through recurring planning operations and analyzing technical opportunities to improve processes. - Experience of having implemented, improved, and supported enterprise class financial systems - which includes planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, data migrations, system testing, cutover plan, and production support. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics : - Must have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levels. - Must possess good analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve business process, information system and interpersonal issues. - Must have the ability to be accountable for quality customer service. - Must be able to complete routine assignments without direction. - Must be able to prioritize issues and requests based on customer urgency.
