Tableau Lead - Business Intelligence

This is a full-time position for one of our clients Required Experience : 5 years Location : Pune The candidate who can join immediately may only apply Work from office Job brief : - As a Tableau Lead, you will be responsible for leading and driving the development within the BI domain using the Tableau eco-system. - Your role involves deep technical expertise and a thorough understanding of the BI ecosystem. - You will design, develop, and deliver BI services through Tableau. Must-Have skillsets: - 5 years of experience as a Tableau Developer with strong dashboarding experience. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and driving dashboarding initiatives. - Proven technical leadership experience with strong technical delivery skills. - Proficiency in producing and maintaining support documentation. - Ability to coordinate with Business executives to identify requirements, and KPIs, and produce visualizations. - Experience in planning, design, estimation, coordination with offshore teams, reviews, building, and implementation of dashboards. - Proven experience in data analysis. - Proven experience in working with data from any domain preferably with Annuities and Investment accounting data. - Experience with visualization development and other BI tools such as Business Objects or Power BI. - Solid RDMS experience, data modelling, and advanced querying skills. - Experience working with data warehouses and/or analytics teams. - Good to know Tableau administration/architecture. - Strong ability to extract information through questioning, active listening, and interviewing. - Awareness of agile/iterative approaches. - A strong understanding of the SDLC process is needed. - Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications, and documentation. - Ability to communicate technical information, business processes, and system-wide changes to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Initiative-driven, flexible, adaptable, with a strong sense of teamwork. - Experience with Agile projects and proficiency in documentation using tools like JIRA/Confluence. - Bachelor's degree preferable in Computer science Good to have : - A master's degree would have an added advantage. - Hands-on expertise in Tableau administration and maintenance. - Strong working knowledge and development experience with Tableau Server and Desktop. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and data modelling. - Familiarity with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc. - Exposure to alternate Visualization technologies like QlikView, Spotfire, Pentaho, etc. - Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
