FA&A Senior Analyst JG- 9 ( 5-8) Position Summary: Seeking a transformative and high performing Individual to join in building out a new team in Finance Centre of Excellence. Someone with advanced technical skills, lean minded, and a self-starter. Performs first level of Production Support. Performing analysis and design, write technical specifications, configuration and programming our tools, including testing and implementation. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintenance and support of the Finance System (SAP-BPC System). Provides maintenance and support to the SAP-BPC environment including data validation, configuration, and loads. Serves as a point of contact to keep the hierarchies aligned between systems. Perform analysis and provide maintenance of the Finance Hierarchy Master Data. Performs program modifications, performance tuning, problem-solving, debugging, and unit testing. Work tasks encompass concepts within the web development best practices which might include: Experience in Agile Scrum Methodology and usage of tools like JIRA. Exposure to HP Service Management & HP Quality Center Provides maintenance and guidelines to the chart of Accounts. Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant information. Conduct matching and merging of the master data records. Handle incident reports, including planning, investigation, and reporting on security incidents. Assure the accuracy of the daily & hourly loads of the General Ledger into 3Ms data warehouse and troubleshooting. Provides maintenance and support to Microsoft Access Database. Guides Business Objects Universe Support. Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints. General Qualifications / Experience: 5 years of relevant working experience in IT-related field. IT Bachelor-level university / college degree in IT-related field. Team-oriented person who can focus on the details. Strong business acumen: capable of understanding complex finance concepts, processes, and measures contained in user requirements documentation. Familiar with HANA Studio / MS SQL Studio / Snowsight; knowledge of data modeling in multiple databases such as Snowflake, Hana View, and Teradata. Experience in back-end Development such as .Net , ColdFusion, or similar Object-oriented languages. Familiarity with the data structure of PeopleSoft (Oracle) and SAP. Fluent in English - read, write, speak. A problem solver with a client service and quality-oriented mindset Excellent communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Access. Working Knowledge of ITIL methodology (Incident Management / Change Management). Experience in SQL Scripting using various Data Type extensions, Variables, Procedures, Triggers, Joins, Modelling Language, and Best Practices. Automation Ability: Experience desired: Some exposure to scripting language Python, Java, R. Basic understanding of Front-end development technologies such as (JS, jQuery, Ajax, and JSON) Understanding of client/server architecture for Web Development Familiar with Microsoft SSIS Packages and ETL methodologies. Make use of the Alteryx desktop and server to schedule, monitor, and enhance workflow performance. Education and training required: Bachelor's, Masters or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or IT Related field. Primary Skills: Ability to optimally engage with both business and technical teams. Strong communication and presentation skills in English. Excellent technical capabilities. Flowcharting, process mapping, value stream mapping. Advanced knowledge & understanding of translating user-provided functional design requirements into technical design requirements. Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate across functional and technical lines, as well as global time zones. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under pressure. Self-motivated with curiosity; willing to continuously learn new systems, processes, and skills. Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter. Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and have strong independent problem-solving skills. Strong project leadership and interpersonal skills Knowledge of information technology opportunities and the ability to evaluate ideas and make proposals. Ability to multi-task is inherent in the job responsibilities. Ability to collaborate / teamwork skills is inherent in the job responsibilities. Must be able to travel internationally if needed.
