Senior SAP CDS Developer - ABAP Module

Position title : SAP Senior CDS Developer With ABAP Experience : 7 Years (Relevant) Location : Hyderabad (5 days WFO) Shift Timing : 3:30 PM to 12:30AM Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement SAP modules to meet business requirements, adhering to coding standards and best practices. Identify opportunities to re-engineer/integrate existing processes. - Experience in designing data warehouse solutions like SAP BW, BW4HANA, Azure DW, AWS, and snowflake etc., - Working exposure in ETL solutions which included SQL views, HANA Calculation views, Transformations and scheduling. - Collaborate and work with the team of SAC Functional leads and provide guidance, mentorship, and support as necessary. - Ability to work as an independent contributor and able to take right decisions following best practices of SAP. - Code Reviews: Perform regular code reviews to ensure high-quality work and adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshooting and Debugging: Solve complex technical issues related to the SAP S/4 systems and modules. - Manage Operational Support: Perform work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required, Flexible to support over off business hours occasionally based on business criticalities. - Testing and QA: Oversee testing efforts, including the creation of test plans and cases, to ensure that all SAP solutions function as expected. - Documentation: Document system configurations, design decisions, and technical solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing. - Compliance: Ensure all SAP activities adhere to regulatory standards and company policies. Additional Responsibilities : - Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions - Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety training. Job Requirements : Minimum Qualifications : - A minimum of 8 years in SQL, with 4 years of CDS/ABAP with data analytics and data mining across various modules of SAP. - Hands-on experience integrating backend SAP and non-SAP applications. - Build complex CDS views using both SAP & Non-SAP Data. - Building HANA Views (Attribute, Analytical & Calc Views) - Data Modelling using HANA Studio/ Eclipse. - Development experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Reports& Workflow) - Experience working with BADIs, User exits, BTE, APIs, Screen builders and Smart Forms - SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture knowledge needed. - Experience in SAP Gateway and OData Services for UI5 development, Reporting / KPI build capabilities. - Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development and primarily on custom CDS views. - Familiarity with cross SAP Functional modules: Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management/Warehouse Management (IMWM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) Sales and Distribution/Reimbursables (SD), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM). - Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
