ETL ODI Developer - Data Modeling & Warehousing

Job Description : Overview : The ETL ODI Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). They are responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of data from various sources to data warehouses and maintaining data integrity throughout the process. Key Responsibilities : - Designing and developing ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements. - Performing data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning for ETL processes. - Conducting data profiling and quality assessments to ensure accurate data integration. - Implementing data validation and reconciliation processes to maintain data consistency. - Developing and maintaining ETL documentation and data mapping documents. - Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging of ETL processes. - Providing technical support and troubleshooting for ETL jobs and processes. - Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and address data integration needs. - Monitoring and optimizing ETL workflows and job schedules. - Adhering to best practices for data integration, data warehousing, and ETL development. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience in designing and developing ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). - Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts. - Experience with data modeling and schema design for data warehousing. - Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes. - Understanding of data integration and ETL best practices. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting ETL issues. - Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. - Knowledge of industry-standard data warehousing and ETL tools and technologies.
