Senior Power BI Developer - Data Analytics & Visualization

About the Role : We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our growing data analytics team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying Power BI solutions that empower users to make data-driven decisions. You will leverage your expertise in the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) to create robust data pipelines and integrate seamlessly with Power BI for comprehensive data analysis and visualization. Key Skills : Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI): - 3-5 years of experience working with MSBI tools, including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI. - Strong working knowledge of MS-SQL Server, including stored procedures, T-SQL queries, and database design principles. - Experience in performance tuning SQL Server databases for optimal efficiency. Data Warehousing & Analytics : - Good understanding of data warehouse/dimensional modeling concepts and OLAP cube development using Microsoft SSAS and MDX. - Experience in creating tabular and matrix reports in SSRS for data exploration and analysis. - Ability to analyze data and create complex SQL queries and SSIS packages to extract and transform data for further processing. Power BI Development : - Proven experience in developing interactive and user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports. - Proficiency in data modeling, DAX calculations, and creating compelling data visualizations. Additional Skills : - Experience with data governance and security best practices. - Understanding of Agile development methodologies and data release processes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders. Personal Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly. - Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and a responsible team player. - Excellent relationship management skills. - Adaptable to a fast-paced and complex environment.
