Power BI Developer - Data Analytics & Visualization

Designation - Power BI Developer We are actively Looking for a Power BI Developer with 3 to 8 years of experience to lead our data analytics and visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing and implementing Power BI solutions that drive business insights through interactive dashboards and reports and decision-making will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights. Roles and Responsibilities : Design and develop visual Power BI reports and dashboards to 'tell the story with data' in ways that are significant, impactful, and understandable to meet business requirements . Collaborate with stakeholders to define data visualization requirements and translate them into actionable solutions to analyze data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making Architect and implement robust data models, including advanced calculations, DAX measures, and optimization techniques, relationships, calculations, and hierarchies SQL querying for best results Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations, ETL processes and data warehouse development. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI solutions for scalability and efficiency. Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data analysis and visualization. Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI using Power Query. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI reports into business processes. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionality and best practices. Manage report workspaces and user access, roles, and permissions to ensure data security and integrity ensuring proper security for Power BI elements. Develop and maintain documentation of datasets and dataflows and Identify opportunities to simplify or automate manual processes. Must-Have Skills : 3 years of Substantial knowledge and working experience in Power BI data visualizations and, SQL, DAX, DAX Studio, Power Query, functional/unit testing as part of technology support BI, and, Power BI: Develop report, dashboards, apps, dataflow creation, data models Hands-on working knowledge and experience with SQL and relational databases and should be able to connect to any datasource (incls APIs, RDBMS, Postgres, HANA, Azure Synapse, sharepoint, excel etc) Knowledge in the Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing and Deployment is an advantage. Experience administering Power BI, Tenant configuration/setup, Embedding analytics and Practical experience establishing and utilizing data analytics standard methodologies. Experience with transactional data processing, ETL, data warehouse, data mart, and operational reporting solutions is preferred. Good to Have Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
