SAP MM Consultant - Support & Implementation

SAP MM consultant Job Description : - As part of SAP MM team, you will execute Requirement gathering, Design, Development that includes back end SAP configuration and Testing of Software Projects - Work alongside SAP Engineering, SAP Architect, QA and Release teams for all project implementation. - Perform FIT -GAP on all SAP Material Master design requirements - Skilled resource in SAP AFS Material Management with 8-10 years of SAP experience. - Support the applications for the Requisition To Check (RTC) processes of Supply Chain mainly Master Data, Sourcing, Inbound Logistics, Distribution (Inventory Management). - Engage with Business leads and users in the above areas, support their processes, work on any new initiatives / requests from them to enhance the existing processes. - Configure and enhance the use of the SAP application in the RTC functional area through projects and minor enhancements in response to business needs; - Execute SAP projects that extend the functional or geographic use of the system in support of the business processes; and provide SAP best practice guidance. - Leverage best practices in SAP solution and service delivery - Must have good exposure to SAP implementation and support in India - Lead data migration workshop. Identify functionality gaps and map the source and target structures as per requirement and coordinate with SAP Techno/Functional consultant and client to map existing legacy system data and structures to the SAP system. - Clearly identifying rules required to cleanse, standardize existing legacy master data to meet universal standards using industry proven unique cleansing methodology. Prepare specifications for data migration to SAP. - Well versed with Data migration cockpit, LSMW etc. - Minimum 8 to 10 Years of experience in SAP Implementation & Data Migration projects - Must - SAP E2E Implementation experience (2/3 implementation or roll out), handling data migration activities that include data analysis, reporting, conversion, harmonization, and business-process analysis - Worked in Cutover Planning and Executions processes. - Strong knowledge of data transformations and data migration design in SAP implementation / Rollout. - Must - Experience and business knowledge in one or more of the SAP Modules: FICO, MM, SD, PP, PS, QM, WM, HCM. - Develop data migration strategies for conversion of Master and Transactional data. - Experience in analyzing source/legacy data models, target data models, come up with a migration approach/framework, migration strategy, plan, mapping documents. - Data migration expertise in end-to-end process including consolidation, cleansing and validation process. - Review, analyze, and develop data migration solutions to support To Be business models. - Develop data migration test plans, develop conversion software and lead efforts during mock runs to refine conversion (ref:hirist.tech)
