Position Overview : The Technical Writer will acquire subject matter knowledge of Optimum's products and create related documentation. This will involve collecting and reviewing all related information - from product management and development teams as well as from the associated tickets in the task management system. The person will work closely with Optimum's account managers in validating user facing content and with technical teams for design documents. The responsibility will span Optimum's global clients and will be based in Noida, India. Key Responsibilities : - The technical writer will be responsible for developing content for various Optimum products. - This would include user guides, online help, technical specifications, appropriate graphics etc. targeting a wide variety of audiences. - Manage existing documentation as the applications evolve, updating content for modifications and creating content for new features. - A team member in this role will communicate and collaborate with functional and technical experts to collect relevant information. - Acquiring an understanding of organizational tools will be required. - Develop and maintain detailed database of reference qualifications and experience : - Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience authoring technical and user content. - Written and verbal fluency in the English language. - An understanding of technical terminology is highly desirable. - Automotive industry experience will be beneficial. - Must be proficient in MS Office tools like Word and Excel. - Experience creating video and other forms of engaging content to educate and inform audiences is desirable.
