Position : Backend Developer Location : Andheri(East), Mumbai Job Type : Full-time Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and interacting with BI, Sales to provide required support from engineering. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards. - Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information. - Optimize and troubleshoot applications for performance, reliability, and scalability. - Collaborate in the planning and implementation of API integrations with external systems. - Contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems, ensuring they align with business requirements. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to projects as needed. - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role. - Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. - Experience with database management systems, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). - Familiarity with web server technologies and serverless architectures. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in designing and implementing them. - Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with Development related tools like IntelliJ Idea, Jira, Sentry etc. - Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, Exotel, Strapi etc. - Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Experience with microservices architecture. - Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. - Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
