In addition to our ops scale, our supply chain SaaS platforms process an additional 700K orders per day on our tech. Geographical reach : 500 towns pan India, and have a unique focus on expanding reach in Tier 2/3, and in the metro / Tier 1 cities where we build to deliver best-in-class customer experience Some of the interesting problems we are working on : At LoadShare we handle millions of shipments every day across e-commerce, hyperlocal, and grocery. We have sophisticated systems that do real-time demand-supply matching of orders with our rider fleet. As a part of this, we work on interesting problem statements including improved demand forecasting, supply-demand matching, real-time supply shaping across space (identifying hotspots) and time (shift capacities), self-learning address intelligence models, scoring incoming orders to optimize for rider experience, business margins, breathability etc. Using modern data science models and methodologies can significantly improve the product capabilities and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities : Own complete and independent development of assigned user stories to launch new products or iterate over existing features. - You will implement cutting-edge technologies and will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep Loadshare at the cutting edge of current technology. - Innovating new/unique ways to solve known and unknown problems. - Using independent judgment in the selection of alternative courses of action. - Responsible for solving high-complexity issues at a system/domain / vertical level. - Collaborate with colleagues including product managers, designers, and other engineers assigned to your project(s). - Exhibits leadership and influence well beyond themselves OR exceptionally strong individual contribution. - Go-to expert in some significant area of the code base. - Research and propose new technologies, and have a broad understanding of the entire architecture. - Proactively identify and clean up technical debt before it turns into a long-term problem, and encourage and enable their team to do the same. - Contributes widely to making others better via code reviews, mentoring, and training. Quality of deliverables - Defects in QA, Post Production - Performance bottlenecks in production 4. Coding quality and architecture standards EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS : 1. B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent. 2. Solid understanding of core CS fundamental concepts. 3. 2-4 years of software development experience. 4. Excellent Java programming skills and expertise in multi-threading and performance-oriented programming. 5. Excellent Functional/Scripting languages. Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Concurrency. 6. Expertise in PL/SQL/RDBMS. 7. Expertise in additional persistence technologies like Cassandra, Redis, Elastic Search, etc. 8. Exposure to AWS for installing, deploying, and maintaining applications. 9. Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and shutdowns. 10. Ability to estimate end-to-end user stories and coordinate with other engineers to deliver the same. 11. Expertise in Micro-services Architecture, multi-threading, performance oriented programming, and designing skill (ref:hirist.tech)
