EY - Technical Lead - Java/Python

Key Responsibilities : - Assist client architect with making pragmatic decisions on architecture and design. - Lead the design of the risk engine framework for data ingestion, calculation, aggregation features. - Establish technical model of the system for junior resources to expand the functionality. - Managed program technical delivery. - Coordinate across program stakeholders. - Establish/Support program governance. Core skills : - Hands on senior development with 10 years experiences in market risk, or/and counterparty credit risk, and/or front office risk, with strong coding experiences in Java and python, but expert experiences in c++ and .NET is acceptable. - Expert in risk system architecture and design, with specialties in one/several of the following areas : 1. Core risk engine build out is the most critical and desirable. 2. Risk system migration. 3. Quant lib integration and optimizations 4. Elastic compute 5. Distributed caching 6. Big data and reporting will be good to have. - Experience with setting up target state architecture and establishing design of the core components for feature build out. - Experience setting up testing environments and testing infrastructure. Automated unit testing, regression testing and SIT testing. - Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary. - Create and manage traceability or requirements though implementation and testing. - Experience in projects managed in accordance with AGILE (SCRUM) methodology or Waterfall (BNYM will run Agile). - Proved track record of working with remote teams effectively and delivering, in one/more of the following types of programs : 1. PFE and/or VaR and/or front office risk systems re-write and migration. 2. Large risk program deliveries, including reg programs. - Proven track record to drive and manage : 1. Global dev team 2. Large risk program delivery - Proven track record to communicate/work closely with stakeholder. Technology Stack : - Python and Java, High-end, high performing Application build experience, with Mongo DB - Experience in Real time messaging / streaming using Kafka , High-end computing calculations, Distributed cache, Multi-processing driven application builds. Nice to have : - PFE and/or VaR and/or front office risk systems re-write and migration. - Large risk program deliveries, including reg programs. - Knowledge of OOPs concepts. - Proficiency with SQL or other query language for data integrity testing. - Must have analytical and Experience in unit testing. - Unix shell scripting.
