ETL Tester - Data Warehouse Testing

Job Description : We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused ETL Tester to join our team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data warehouse About the Role : In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans to verify the functionality and performance of our Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. You will work closely with data analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of data into our data warehouse. Responsibilities : - Design and develop comprehensive test plans for ETL processes - Extract test data to simulate real-world scenarios - Validate the accuracy and completeness of transformed data - Perform end-to-end testing of ETL workflows, ensuring data integrity throughout the process - Identify and document data quality issues - Work with developers to resolve data quality defects - Maintain and update test automation scripts (a plus) - Stay up-to-date on the latest ETL testing tools and methodologies Requirements : - 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL testing or a related field - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data quality principles - Experience with ETL testing tools and methodologies (a plus) - Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Shell for test automation (a plus) - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
