Data Engineer - Scala/Python

Location : Chennai Experience : 3-6 years Job Description : What You'll Do : M2P Fintech is looking for Data Engineer to build and set up data solutions. As part of a cross functional team, you will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality and innovative solutions that have immediate business impact. You need to take the challenges and ownership that comes while developing a complex system. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. Some of the Key responsibilities include: - Develop, and maintain highly scalable data processing applications. - Write efficient, reusable and well documented code. - Deliver big data projects using Spark, Scala, Python, SQL, Hive and open-source tools. What You Need To Have : - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent. - 3-6 years' data engineering experience. - Hand-on experience in Python/Scala. - Hands-on experience on big data frameworks like Spark. - Exposure to CI/CD pipeline tools and Docker. - In depth knowledge of distributed system. - Experience in ETL, Data Lake, and data warehouse pipelines will be big plus. - Knowledge of any cloud platform services. - Basic knowledge of AI and data science.
