Data Engineer - Artificial Intelligence

Role : AI Data Engineer Location : chennai Hybrid - 2 days office 3 days from home Experience : 5 years Job Description : The AI Data Engineer - AI will be responsible for : Building tooling and systems to enable the delivery of advanced AI tools, which range from models as a service, to custom build models and Large Language Models. Working with data scientists to design the operating model for AI systems (ML Ops and LLMOps). In addition to building services, you will design and develop frameworks and boiler plate to accelerate the adoption of AI driven services with the product portfolio. Maintaining the AI systems and providing expert guidance to teams adopting tools and frameworks. Working closely with BAs to document the existing systems and architect new solutions. Working within architecture norms and standards; creating these where they don't exist. Working directly on enterprise systems and the teams that use them. Closely collaborate with business stakeholders to implement AI driven product components and functionality. Key experience : The ideal candidate will have : Experience working with applications and data in a cloud environment. Experience in working with data pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, and data quality tooling. Proficiency in SQL & Python Experience with Microsoft services such as Databricks & Azure Services Experience in working with RESTful APIs and microservices. Experience in working with agile methodologies Experience in working in any container environment Nice to have experience : Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, frameworks and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Deep learning, LLM, Embeddings, Google Vertex, Amazon SageMaker Experience in building and deploying scalable and robust AI solutions, , C/C#, using best practices such as MLOps, LLM Ops, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, etc. Experience in working with distributed computing, such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc. Skills : The ideal candidate will have : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality. Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly and independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with changing priorities and deadlines. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both internal and external.
