L1 Engineer - Hardware Support

Position Title : L1 Engineer CTC : 3 - 3.6 LPA Experience : 1-2 Yrs Location : Bangalore Work mode : On-site Primary skills : Hardware Fixing, Dell authorized certificate. Qualification : Any Engineer Roles And Responsibilities : - L1 Engineers manage and resolve incidents reported by users within specified service level agreements (SLAs). They use ticketing systems to track and manage support requests, ensuring that incidents are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. - In addition to providing technical support over various communication channels such as phone, email, or chat, L1 Engineers also assist users with tasks like installing and configuring software, troubleshooting hardware problems, and managing user accounts. - They are responsible for maintaining documentation of common issues and their resolutions, which helps in training new support staff and improving the efficiency of support operations. L1 Engineers also monitor systems and networks for alerts or errors, responding to basic alerts and escalating more critical issues as needed. - Customer service is a key aspect of the role, requiring L1 Engineers to be polite, patient, and professional when interacting with users. They aim to ensure that users feel supported and valued throughout the troubleshooting process. - Continuous learning is essential for L1 Engineers to stay updated with new technologies, products, and troubleshooting techniques.
