Job Description
Experience : Total 10 Years of experience in Telecom Testing background Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days Location : Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore & Chennai Skills for Telecom Testing : - OSS and BSS applications knowledge is must. - Should have strong analytical approach towards the requirement analysis, test planning, test designing, execution follow-up, tracking issues to Roles and responsibilities : - Strong troubleshooting capabilities targeting complicated problems in the remote system - Strong communication and strong writing skills required - Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities and experience in agile development - Knowledge of software development methodology, build tools, and product life cycle - Excellent team skills, can-do demeanor, focus on quality. - Experienced software testing, understand the business functionality, and define over all test strategy. - Proactively manage test readiness, environments, test data quality, resource alignment to meet business objectives. - Must have the desire for delivering excellence in product quality, and reliability. - Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, project and time management skills a must. - Must be extremely detail-oriented in regards to verbal and written documentation and communication. - Ability to work flexible hours occasionally on weekends too. - Knowledge of Telecom networks and protocol should be an added advantage. - Knowledge of Calibration Services should be an added advantage. - Experience in Troubleshooting, tracking, and resolution of day-to-day customer issues. - Should be able to work under tight deadlines. - Should be eager to learn new technologies and business details. - Act independently and be self-motivated. - Excellent Problem solving and customer service skills. - Should be able to research solutions independently and solve problems. - Must have excellent communication skills. - Multitasking and coordination skills. - Drive for result. - Create customer and vendor accounts. - Open trouble tickets & resolving Trouble Tickets received on support email, live chat or phone. - Testing routes based on sales request and customer requirements. - Be online on skype and work on sales/customer/vendor requests. - Assist in creation and implementation of documents and procedures to support operations. - Should be able to handle all type of customers for services sales viz AMC & Calibration. - Create reports and analyse data on a daily basis. - Maximize Service Availability. - Takes end to end Ownership of End user issues till resolution and follow up as mandated by process requirements. - Escalate complex problems of team to higher level of expertise within Organization - Proven expertise in Agile software development especially Scrum and Kanban - Have deep experience of system level debugging (including customer issues) with good understanding of managing and triaging production level issues hould have a good understanding of API testing and be able to perform API testing using relevant tools like Postman, REST Assured or SoapUI - Should be familiar with database query language such as SQL, so that they can query and validate the production data for analysis - Ensure that business requirements are mapped to the functional specification and have sufficient test coverage - Strong knowledge of defect tracking systems and processes - Ensure that business requirements are mapped to the functional specification and have sufficient test coverage - Strong knowledge of defect tracking systems and processes (ref:hirist.tech)
