Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a proven track record in data analytics, reporting, ETL, and Hadoop data systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in building robust data pipelines, creating insightful reports, and troubleshooting pipeline issues. Proficiency in Python for automation tasks is essential, along with expertise in MySQL and SQL Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data processing. - Design and implement ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into our data systems. - Build and optimize reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Utilize Python for automating repetitive tasks and improving operational efficiency. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, ensuring minimal disruption to data flow. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering and apply them to improve existing systems. - Basic understanding of AWS services, particularly EC2, is preferred, but experience with any cloud platform will be Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, ETL, and Hadoop data systems. - Proficiency in Python programming for automation and scripting tasks. - Expertise in MySQL and SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines. - Experience in creating and maintaining data pipelines using tools like Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or similar technologies. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
