Logistics Co-ordinator

Requirements: Matric Degree in Logistics is advantageous Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the food industry. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Advanced computer literacy is essential (MS Office) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Duties (Not limited to): Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from our facilities to customers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers, negotiating rates and contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality. Track and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment to meet production and customer demands as well as full stock control function. Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to ensure effective communication and alignment of logistics activities with overall business objectives. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings. Following all aspects of HACCP; safety; quality, legality and aspects related to authenticity in the department. Any other support as per business demands.
