Job Description

This position is located in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program, Fleet Readiness Department in the Fitness/Sports and Deployed Support Department. The purpose of this position is to maintain and operate clean indoor and outdoor fitness/aquatic facilities/spaces.

We provide direct and support services to all non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees who work for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), and Navy Getaways throughout the FFR Program worldwide.

Job Requirements

A qualified candidate must possess: Must be 18 years of age and have the ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions to carry out assigned duties independently Must possess knowledge of basic cleaning and janitorial techniques and procedures. Must possess the ability to work with basic equipment, materials and supplies used in maintaining the assigned facility in a clean and sanitary state. Must possess the ability to operate and perform routine maintenance and repair on outdoor equipment used in preparing sports fields and facilities for sporting events. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license at all times and have the ability to operate a variety of automobile vehicles in the performance of duties. Position may be subject to an irregular tour of duty including weekends and holidays.
