Job Description Managing a team of Payments and Collections Administrators Driving team targets in accordance with the department''s KPI requirements Evaluating data and using the information to boost productivity and ensure steady staff development. Ensuring high collection and retention rates Managing the collection book at optimal capacity Providing encouragement, training, coaching and performance improvement plans to agents where necessary Ensuring adherence to compliance requirements through call listening and performance evaluation Liaising with other departments to ensure departmental synergy and ultimate company success. Ensuring relevant HR documentation is submitted electronically as well as manually. Competencies: Ability to work accurately whilst under pressure. Ability to understand and communicate complex data and results. Ability to build and maintain relationships. Strong problem solving, decision-making, and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to persuade and influence. Proficient in debt collection systems and technologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Customer Service skills Requirements Qualification: Matric (essential) Related Diploma or degree (advantageous) Clear ITC and criminal record (essential) Min. 2 years Debt Collection experience (essential) Min. 2 years Debt Review experience (essential) Min. 2 years Team Leader experience in a collections environment (essential) POPI knowledge (advantageous) Knowledgeable in Payments Distribution Agents Familiar with payment processes, tools and systems Language Requirements: Xhosa, Afrikaans, English, Zulu, Sotho
