JOB DESCRIPTION One of our clients is looking for a Pastry Sous Chef for their private safari game lodge in Hoedspruit. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years of experience in pastry. Qualifications or relevant in pastry. Experience in 4/5-star establishments. Knowledge of à la carte service. SKILLS Extensive experience in pastry culinary arts Leadership and team management skills Creative and innovative approach to pastry design In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and dessert presentation Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Familiarity with cost control and inventory management Adherence to high standards of food hygiene and safety Effective communication and collaboration within a culinary team Ability to train and mentor junior pastry staff Continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
