Production / Farm Manager

Stanislaus Agri, a leading and well-established producer of stone and pome fruit based in Tulbagh with various production units, has an exciting opportunity available for a Production / Farm Manager to join their team. Responsibilities: Manage production processes on various production units (fertilizing, irrigation, chemistry activities, pruning & sawing, manipulation, harvest, fruit thinning and planting) Personnel management (productivity, planning of labour requirements, discipline, training, sign off on wages etc.) Preparation and management of budget Act as link between marketing and pack house Stock control (place orders, inventory etc.) Coordinate maintenance on the production units Manage Health & Safety and all food safety audits on production units Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a fruit production management role Relevant post matric qualification will be advantageous Well-developed leadership and management skills Excellent planning and organisational skills Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS Office Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication (English & Afrikaans) and interpersonal skills Ability to function well under pressure and prioritise tasks
