The mission of the Directorate of Cadet Activities (DCA) is to significantly enhance the development of the United States Corps of Cadets militarily, physically, academically, moral-ethically, spiritually, and socially by providing organized, comprehensive and diverse programs and facilities, which provide for entertainment, extracurricular, recreational, cultural and social activities. Located in the scenic Hudson River valley, only 50 miles from New York City, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point is a four-year academic institution, a nationally-renowned historic site, and the oldest continuously occupied military post in America. West Point's 3,000 civilian employees have access to Eisenhower Hall Theater, the Hudson Valley's premier performing arts center, and recreational facilities such as an 18-hole Golf Course and Ski Slope.

Job Requirements

A four-year bachelor's degree in an academic field related to the work of the position, from an accredited college or university. In addition to the basic requirement above: One (1) year of progressively responsible work experience, equivalent to the next lower grade level, which showcases utilizing proper occupational therapy theories, physical rehabilitation and prevention techniques. OR: Two (2) years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. Must have knowledge in budget, medical supply, safety and inventory management, and ability to conduct preventive maintenance on all athletic training room equipment. The experience and education must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts, degrees, diplomas, certifications, etc. must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. HIGHLY PREFERRED: A Master's Degree related to the position (ex. Kinesiology and Sports Sciences). The education must be reflected on your resume and your degree/transcript/ uploaded at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
