Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least one year of experience and a valid SC or compact RN license for a hospital-based contract. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab with 5 dedicated labs and a Hybrid OR Types of cases include diagnostic right and left heart caths, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, peripheral, and vascular procedures Day shifts with four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM On-call required 1-2 nights per week, one weekend per six-week period, and possible holiday call EPIC EMR is used in this department First-time travelers are accepted for this position Completion of pre-employment online modules is required prior to starting All requested time off must be declared prior to contract offer; requests after acceptance are not allowed Locals within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate Previous permanent or PRN staff must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler Candidates must be willing to be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) if contracted during this period Holiday call coverage may be required according to department needs Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required by the contract start Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab RN experience Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required Radiation badge must be supplied Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred Scrub experience in the Cath Lab is preferred SSN and valid driver’s license required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634108.
