Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Debtors Clerk who thrives in a dynamic, high-paced setting. You will take full ownership of the debtors book, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely collections across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain an accurate debtors book across retail, wholesale, and online channels Monitor account aging, perform reconciliations, and allocate payments efficiently Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve queries promptly Process credit notes and verify returns for e-commerce and wholesale clients Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to ensure smooth collections Prepare regular debtors reports and support the Finance Manager with audits and compliance Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency Job Experience and Skills Required: Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business 5 years experience in debtors/accounts receivable, ideally within retail or a multi-channel business Advanced Excel and financial reporting proficiency Strong understanding of ERP systems (Odoo ERP preferred) Proven experience in customer account management and dispute resolution Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and international accounts Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Highly organized, self-driven, and accountable Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Upholds integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
