Sales Consultant

Duties and responsibilities: Meet sales targets by visiting customers according to contact plan and selling merchandise Develop new business by identifying new sales opportunities Build productive relationships with customers Requirements: National Senior Certificate Certificate or Diploma in Sales or Marketing is an advantage Minimum 2 years sales experience retail or wholesale environment preferred Exposure to an interior design environment is an advantage Computer literate Own reliable vehicle Skills and Knowledge required: Good telephone etiquette Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) Good presentation skills Good with building and maintaining customer relationships Excellent customer service and after sales service Good with selling products and concepts Good with developing new business and markets Professional with good business etiquette Behaviours essential: Be assertive with drive and ambition Be decisive and able to prioritize Be determined Able to cope with stress Good with time management and activity planning Able to take action, initiative and follow through Creativity and innovative thinking
