QA Automation Engineer Sr

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our global team and help us ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of Fielo’s products. If you are passionate about automation, testing, and collaboration in an agile environment — this is for you. What you’ll do Collaborate in cross‑functional, agile teams to design and implement automated test suites for APIs, UX, and UI. Work closely with backend and frontend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to identify and resolve issues. Build and maintain regression testing suites for Fielo applications using Playwright with TypeScript. Design, develop, and support innovative testing strategies to enhance QA automation. Report the status and progress of automation and quality projects. Reproduce, troubleshoot, and document production issues. Ensure regression testing coverage across product configurations and use cases. Integrate automated tests with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines. Who you are Educational background • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience • 5 years of experience in QA automation. • Hands‑on experience writing and executing tests using Playwright. • Strong knowledge of Cucumber, Selenium, Ruby, and test automation frameworks. • Experience with JMeter for performance/load testing. • Familiarity with Pega‑based applications (nice to have). • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies. Skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills. What we’re looking for • Proven experience in QA automation and testing APIs (Soap, Postman, etc.). • High analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Knowledge of non‑relational databases. • Ability to write reusable code and apply object‑oriented paradigm to automated tests. • Advanced spoken and written English. • Initiative, curiosity, and a mindset for continuous improvement. • ISTQB or similar testing certification. • Experience working with Pega projects. • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
