Schedule Night shifts, 4 times a week, from 18:45 to 07:15. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in a Medical Surgical Oncology setting, focusing on the administration and monitoring of chemotherapy, managing general medical surgical diagnoses, and supporting patient recovery in both acute and chronic illness scenarios. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection. Monitor patient vitals and overall health status, providing cardiac monitoring and emergency responses as needed. Manage and care for IV therapy, including blood product administration, peripheral and central line care, and port management. Perform isolation precautions and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care, including physical therapy and social services. Participate in monthly staff meetings and comply with hospital policies and procedures during increased census periods or disaster scenarios. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience; Oncology experience preferred. Current BLS certification required; ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Experience in an inpatient setting with skills in colostomy care, wound management, and medication administration. Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. Why ARMStaffing?
