Job Description Job Description Pay: $19.00 per hour Location: 33127, Miami, Florida, United States Job description: Job Summary: The Floor Host is the go-to resource for delivering a warm, hospitality-driven experience on each office floor. Acting as the visible point of contact for guests, visitors, and employees, the Floor Host ensures every interaction is professional, seamless, and memorable. This role connects people with the right resources, anticipates needs, and provides real-time support for meetings and workplace services—all while maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment. Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Key Responsibilities: Meeting Support: Provide real-time, floor-level assistance for meetings, greeting organizers and guests as events begin. Confirm and prepare meeting room requirements in advance (lighting, supplies, AV, temperature, etc.) to exceed expectations. Workplace Hospitality: Perform continuous floor tours to ensure the office environment remains in peak condition. Serve as the first point of contact for questions and requests, offering knowledgeable and timely solutions. Workspace Optimization: Support a hoteling and mobile workspace culture by assisting guests with workspace reservations, monitoring occupancy, and reclaiming unused space to maximize efficiency. Space & Facilities Oversight: Monitor meeting room usage for accuracy, track no-shows, and liaise with facilities for maintenance needs (furniture, lighting, carpet, etc.) to ensure the space always reflects excellence. In-Meeting Service: Provide contact information for live support during meetings and reset rooms post-event to ensure readiness for the next group. Manage and secure additional equipment as needed. Reporting & Compliance: Capture data on customer interactions and report findings. Adhere to Forrest Solutions and client policies, including safety regulations. Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training to maintain knowledge of hospitality best practices, technical systems, and client standards. Qualifications: 2–3 years’ experience in hospitality, event planning, or service-focused industries (hotel, restaurant, or corporate hospitality preferred). Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and audio/visual equipment. Excellent communication and listening skills with a polished, professional demeanor. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to confidently interact with clients and employees across all professional levels. A strong commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism, appearance, and service.
