Transport Supervisor

Our client is looking for an experiences transport supervisor who can support with the daily operations of the transport department, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. This position will be a temporary position, initially for 6 months Location: ST5, Chesterton Shift pattern: Monday - Friday (days of work will change during the peak period and one day at the weekend will be required) Shift time: Rotational (6am-4pm/ 8am-6pm) Pay: £13.80 (will increase to £14.80 for October, November and December) Key Responsibilities of a ~Transport Supervisor Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations, including vehicle scheduling, route planning and load optimization. Handle transport- related queries, complaints and incidents in a timely manner. Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations Collaborate with warehouse, logistic and customer service teams to improve delivery performance. Requirements of a Transport Supervisor: Previous experience in as a transport supervisor is preferred but not essential Knowledge of SAP/WMS systems Computer literate Quest Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
