Maintenance support

Maintenance Support Location: Crewkerne Duration: 12 months Initially Rate: £12.11 per hour via PAYE Inside IR35 We are looking for a reliable and proactive Facilities Support and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems are functioning efficiently. A key requirement for this role is holding a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license, as you will be required to operate forklifts in various aspects of your work. Key Responsibilities: Support the Facilities Manager in the maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment. Perform general maintenance tasks. Operate forklifts to move equipment, materials, and stock around the facility, adhering to safety standards. Assist with inventory management, including the transportation of materials and tools. Conduct routine inspections of the facility, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely. Assist in setting up or reconfiguring office layouts and equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed and materials used. Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed in all maintenance activities. Respond to urgent maintenance needs or equipment breakdowns in a timely manner. Requirements: FLT License (essential): Must possess a valid and current Forklift Truck license. Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
