Job Description

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement and technology? Our client in Ipswich is looking for an IT Procurement Administrator to join their dynamic IT team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in managing the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring value for money, compliance, and effective vendor management. You’ll work closely with IT, finance, and suppliers to keep systems running smoothly and budgets on track. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the end-to-end procurement process for IT products and services Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing Support IT asset management (both hardware and software) Monitor and manage the IT procurement budget Ensure all purchasing complies with company policies and regulatory requirements Keep accurate records of contracts, inventory, and purchases Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with business needs What We're Looking For Experience in IT procurement or a similar administrative procurement role Good understanding of IT systems and infrastructure Familiarity with procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Comfortable working with budgets and procurement systems/tools Awareness of ITIL and IT Service Management is a plus Should this position sound like the right one for you and you’re interested in finding out more, please do contact Matt at Agilis Search who will be delighted to discuss this further.
