Planning Lawyer/Senior Lawyer

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority Shared Service based in Cambridgeshire, for a planning lawyer/senior lawyer to join them on a permanent basis. You will provide a range of public sector clients with professional legal advice on planning, large scale development, and highways matters. This includes representing clients in negotiations and ensuring compliance with statutory duties and obligations. Previous UK local government experience is essential. To apply you will be: An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive Able to demonstrate previous experience of handling a caseload of planning, development and highways matters Able to attend the office in Cambridgeshire at least 2 days per week The salary for this role is £44,290 - £58,160 per annum, depending on experience. This benefits include the Local Government Pensions Scheme, hybrid working, and generous annual leave entitlement starting at 24 days bank holidays, rising with service, and the option to purchase more annual leave.
