7.5T Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled and dependable 7.5 Ton Truck Driver to support deliveries across Somerset and surrounding areas. The role is ideal for individuals with experience in urban and rural driving, confident in handling deliveries independently while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. Role Summary Youll be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to multiple destinations, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with all transport regulations. Key Responsibilities Operate a 7.5-ton vehicle safely for multi-stop deliveries and collections Navigate a range of routes, including restricted and high-traffic zones Load and unload goods independently, securing items for safe transit Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the transport office Ensure the vehicle remains clean, well-maintained, and compliant Be available for occasional overnight runs Provide a courteous and professional service to customers Requirements Valid UK driving licence with C1 entitlement Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Proven experience operating 7.5t Vehicles Confidence in handling goods manually Flexibility for overnight assignments Strong geographic knowledge of the South West region Excellent timekeeping, organisational, and communication skills A clean driving record is preferred Desirable Forklift Counterbalance Certificate (preferred but not required)
