Finance Controller

As our Finance Controller, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of i-Tail Europe B.V. You will act as a business partner to our General Manager and commercial teams, ensuring robust financial systems, reporting accuracy, regulatory compliance, and valuable financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic oversight and detailed execution, especially as we continue setting up our accounting systems and shared services. The role will be based in Utrecht, Netherlands, reporting to the Assistant CFO in Thailand, with a dotted line to the Deputy General Manager in the Netherlands. Your Responsibilities: Oversee financial control systems and ensure compliance with statutory and corporate policies. Deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting to HQ and internal stakeholders. Lead financial planning processes, including budget, forecast, and variance analysis. Act as business partner to the General Manager and sales managers, supporting performance analysis and customer deal evaluations. Set up accounting systems and manage operational finance tasks such as invoicing, reconciliations, audits, VAT, payroll, and tax. Support internal controls, capital structure planning, treasury coordination, and transfer pricing documentation. Why Choose Us? About You: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management. 3 years of relevant finance experience. Proven ability to operate in dynamic, cross-functional environments independently Strong business acumen and ability to explain complex financials to non-finance colleagues. Passion, resilience, and a proactive mindset. Excellent English communication skills. Dutch is not required but the ability to liaise with Dutch legal institutions (e.g., tax authorities) is essential.
