We're seeking a temporary, part-time Chemistry Teacher to join our well-regarded Independent girls' school in Harrow, starting as soon as possible. This is a brilliant opportunity to inspire bright young women with the fundamental principles of chemistry and ignite their scientific curiosity. What you'll be doing: * You'll be designing and delivering captivating Chemistry lessons, sparking curiosity about the composition, structure, properties, and reactions of matter. * It's all about expertly guiding students through key chemical concepts, conducting stimulating experiments, and helping them hone their analytical skills. * You'll cultivate a safe and stimulating laboratory environment where students feel empowered to explore chemical phenomena and develop their scientific inquiry skills. What we're looking for: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Chemistry. * Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective Chemistry lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4. * A deep and current understanding of chemical principles, plus that unique ability to make the subject accessible and truly inspiring for girls. * Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a safe pair of hands for practical experiments.
