Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Oxford Street (Up to £47,000) Location: Oxford Street, London Shifts: Monday to Friday (weekly rotation) Week 1: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Week 2: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum Call-Out Rota: Optional, with additional pay Type: Full-Time, Permanent Environment: Commercial Office & Retail Building The Role CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a small, on-site team looking after a prestigious commercial building in the heart of Oxford Street. The site includes both office and retail space, offering a varied and dynamic working environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver planned and reactive mechanical maintenance (HVAC, pumps, plumbing, etc.) Support electrical engineers with basic tasks as required Monitor building systems and ensure efficient operation of plant equipment Maintain high standards of H&S and statutory compliance Interact with tenants and clients in a professional manner Use CAFM system for logging works, inspections, and reports Participate in an optional call-out rota (with additional payment) What You’ll Need NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Solid experience in a commercial maintenance role (offices or retail preferred) Working knowledge of HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and valves Basic electrical understanding is advantageous Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset What’s on Offer Up to £47,000 per annum Optional call-out rota for extra earnings Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends) A role in one of London’s most well-known commercial districts Long-term stability with a respected FM provider Interested?
