Mechanical Engineer - Temp to Perm Location: Isle of Wight Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Contract: Temp to Perm Benefits: Van & Fuel Card Provided We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a facilities team supporting police stations across the Isle of Wight. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and the chance to work in a rewarding and secure environment. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance within police stations Working closely alongside police officers and staff on a daily basis Participating in a 1-in-5 call-out rota (once security vetting is complete) Requirements: NVQ Level 2 & 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering A current DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to pass NPPV Level 2 vetting Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: Competitive hourly rate Company van and fuel card provided Opportunity for permanent employment after the initial temporary period Stable Monday to Friday working hours This is a fantastic role for a qualified mechanical engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a structured and supportive environment.
