Sure Start Staff | Welder Fabricator | Engineering | Todmorden Our client, a design-led manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team in Todmorden. They specialise in the production of bespoke retail displays, digital kiosks, furniture, and outdoor kitchens for the retail and hospitality sectors. Employment Type: Temporary (Perm opportunities available) Pay: £14.00 per hour Location: Todmorden Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm & Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm Key Tasks and Responsibilities * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings * Set up and operate MIG, TIG, and arc welding equipment * Weld various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel * Inspect and ensure weld quality, adjusting as needed * Maintain welding tools and equipment * Adhere to all health and safety protocols * Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines * Accurately record materials used and work completed Key skills * Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * High level of precision and attention to detail * Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity * Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices * Ability to work independently and within a team * Welding certifications are a plus, but not essential To apply for this position: Please submit your updated CV, including job titles and a summary of your duties and skills.
