Job Description

Are you a skilled and passionate Year 3 Teacher seeking a new opportunity in a vibrant and supportive school community? This well-regarded and forward-thinking primary school in Redbridge, London, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is looking for an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. With a strong focus on academic excellence and personal development, the school provides a well-resourced learning environment, supportive SLT, and a clear behaviour policy to empower teachers and pupils alike. Key Responsibilities • Teach a Year 3 class, delivering a rich and engaging KS2 curriculum • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners • Work closely with a parallel Year 3 teacher to share ideas and strategies • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and inclusion across the classroom • Support pupils’ academic and social progress, ensuring high standards • Collaborate with teaching assistants and wider staff to enrich learning experiences Requirements • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – no ECTs • Minimum 1 full year of UK classroom teaching experience • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 3 • Confident in behaviour management and differentiation • A commitment to creative learning, high standards, and pupil progress • Positive, proactive, and reliable team player Benefits • Competitive salary: £37,868 – £56,154 (dependent on experience) • A full-time, permanent Year 3 Teacher post • Support from an experienced parallel teacher and teaching assistant • Continuous professional development (CPD) and career progression • A welcoming team, strong leadership, and a collaborative ethos • Well-resourced classrooms and a clear behaviour framework If you’re an experienced Year 3 Teacher ready to make a lasting impact in a well-established Redbridge school, we’d love to hear from you.
