Job Title: Multi-Skills Construction Tutor Location: Harrogate Start Date: August 2025 Contract Type: Temporary (with potential to become Permanent) Pay: £225 per day (temporary) / £42,000 per annum (permanent) Working Weeks: Term-time only (39 weeks per year) Are you a skilled and passionate construction professional ready to inspire the next generation of tradespeople? We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skills Construction Tutor to join our team as we launch a brand-new training facility, opening in September 2025. You’ll play a key role from the very beginning — helping to shape the course content, prepare the workshop environment, and contribute to the creation of a high-quality learning experience. What You’ll Do: * Set up the new construction training facility and resources ahead of our September opening * Deliver practical, engaging sessions in a range of construction skills (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, bricklaying, painting & decorating) * Work closely with a small class of up to 10 learners, supported by two additional staff members in the classroom * Monitor and support learners’ progress, helping them to develop both technical ability and workplace readiness * Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience across multiple construction trades * A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) * Strong communication and organisational skills * A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for teaching and training * A commitment to learner success and continuous improvement Why Join Us? * Be part of an exciting new facility from the ground up * Small class sizes and strong in-class support * Term-time working – 39 weeks a year * Temporary daily rate of £225 with opportunity to progress to a permanent role (£42,000 annual salary) * Supportive and collaborative team environment To Apply: Send your CV to Dean or call me on (phone number removed)
